to Green Acres, a family owned business since 1974. We feature snow tubing with two hills that are groomed and have tow ropes that bring you back up the hill. New last year are cross country ski trails. We are located just 20 minutes from the Twin Cities metro area in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

Release Waiver (Print Release Waiver)
Green Acres requires everyone that participates in snow tubing or Cross Country skiing to read and sign a waiver. If under 18, waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. One waiver is needed to be completed for each individual person snow tubing or cross country skiing. For your convenience, you may print a copy and bring it with you when you purchase your ticket.

Snow Tubing:
Green Acres has a snow tubing Family Hill and for the adventurous, a Big Hill (open in mid January) for the thrill seekers, and towropes to bring you back to the top. Tubers must be a minimum height of 42 inches or taller to tube alone.

Cross Country Ski Trail: (trail map)
Cross country skiing is a great way to get outside and enjoy Minnesota’s winter. At Green Acres Recreation, our rolling terrain and 6 km Cross Country ski trail (2.5 km man-made) layout, combined with state-of-the-art snowmaking and Pistenbully grooming, make for one of the East Metro’s best skiing experiences. We groom daily, weather permitting, to always ensure optimal trail conditions. We feature challenging terrain for a quality training experience, flat beginner loop for lessons, groups and easy skis and a warming chalet. Head lamps are recommended if cross country skiing after dusk. No Rentals available. Get out and enjoy the season — come skiing at Green Acres.

Ski Lessons Available: Green Acres offers private lessons for Beginner to Intermediate level skiers.
